Formia glass clown

Hi. I found this glass clown at an estate sale and after looking around I cannot find anything out about it, would sure appreciate some help. It's 12" tall and is stamped Formia vetri di murano, made in Italy. It's such an odd ball piece, I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it. if anyone knows I would like to know when it was made and what it might be worth.
