Photo 1-Side view of handle hardware, photo 2- Picture of the other large dome top I'm working on,that I think could fit inside this Beast. Photo 3 -Is top corner hardware. photo 4 -Is the interior tray with pictures. It does have a ladies portrait as the interior lid cover(needs repair)This trunk has some pretty unique pivoting wheels on the bottom.I also found old photos, 2 -12" ladies hat pins,A wonderful ribbon design with engravings and is marked sterling silver, The other is Brass Letters B.S. from Scovins manufacturer of military buttons in waterbury conn. Both
were wrapped in a (Tattered Mink fur hat pin holder) I will refinish this
trunk in a few months and will re-post more pics.
Drill, I love it. The interior is pretty AWESOME looking. I'd live to see those hat pins and hat pin holder. I collect a lot of that kind of stuff and it really intrigues me! I have several lady's hat pins and a couple of hat pin holders.
Typo: (I'd love to see those hat pins)
A real beauty. Funny that the corner hardware is the exact same as the one I just posted and I had never seen it before. What an interior that is.... stunning. Look forward to your creative touch on these...
Thanks guys,a Busy day trunking outside in the rain(under cover of course) a lot of nails to polish.
Super trunk, I really love the great hardware and when they have the extra tack work. Should be a real beauty when it's done.
