Hello Again,
I hope the New Year is off to a good start for everyone.
This is a new purchase.
The contents of the estate that it came out of belonged to a former choreographer from the Copacabana in New York City, named Douglas Coudy.
The place was filled with celebrity photos from the, 30's, 40's, 50's,
many of the autographed and inscribed, I mean there were TONs of them!, and he knew everybody in the dance/music scene of mid century NYC . Lots of Jazz artists, art photographers, dancers, ballet artists .
There were even a couple of tables from the old Copa in the basement, ( also filled with things ). What a thrill it was, I wish you all could've been there.
This piece is beautiful. About 10" high, 13" inches across. I thought it might be Chinese, but I looked and looked and couldn't find a match of profile and design.
I hope you like it, any help to get me going in the right direction would be welcome.
I'll share some of the photos from the sale, soon!
A Hearty Thanks to all,
Tony.

Thanks for the love, ho2! Much appreciated!
It's beautiful Tony...try maybe Italian or French majolica. Could be continental instead of Asian.
