1880's Seth Thomas "The Anvil" animated alarm clock. The blacksmiths arm with hammer strikes the anvil as the seconds tick away.
The last picture is out of Roy Ehihardt's Clock Identification & price guide, Book 2 dated 1977. It shows the original price & his 1977 value.

CW, on their home page, under Featured Collections, has shown some of the alarm clocks in my collection. This one however is the "Holy Grail" of my alarm clock collection, "The Anvil" by Seth Thomas.
