    I purchase this painting and later discovered that it is a very old likeness of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (after Tischbein). It had been purchased in Cape Cod, Mass.

      Inky, Thank You! Yes, I have found the images but finding it difficult to determine the age. There is a name on the back that links the painting to friends of the original painter. I will probably have to have the painting checked by an expert in the future. Many thanks for the link..I enjoyed reading the information.
