Phillips again?

After spending 6 months to find our first 6' Phillips 66 sign, we have now come across 5 of them? Amazing luck or Persistance? My father in law use to say that if I would just keep at my task it would get easier in time; not because the task became easier, but because my ability to do the task would become enhanced. Maybe that holds true with finding old signs as well? In any event we have been very fortunate to be able to locate and purchase a lot of really nice signs in the past year while many people are saying the sources have dried up. What HAS dried up is the ability to buy them for really cheap prices. Perhaps all the attention caused by some TV shows has impacted the marketplace? This cool sign came from a collector friend quite close to us so we could pay a little more for it since we don't have to pay freight. It will look great on a pole with the rest of our signs and gas pumps at the FREE Petroliana museum at aaaLakeside Storage in Provo Utah. Come by and see us.
