Another nice item I found at Salvation today. Tangled within a bunch of heavy necklaces, a tiny delicate charm bracelet that's only 7.5 " in diameter. It's marked near the clasp Italy 14K Vior. It was broken but it was soft enough that I was able to open the link and repair it with just my fingers. There's a tiny heart suspended in the middle with a little prong set purple stone which I think is an amethyst. -Mike-
Yes, it probably is amethyst...I just love, love when things like this are lost in a tangled mess or even by itself and I find it! How much does it weigh? just curious!
Oh boy I'd have to guess ...That's the one thing I lack is a gram scale .... I would say not more than 4-5 grams. Based on the length and the link pattern from what I've seen online.
Sweetie! The bracelet too....
lol...Thank you Karen :)
Very nice Mike :)
Nice find... Great bracelet.
Thank you Elisabethan and DrFluffy :)
Think I'm pretty safe on this one eye. The Italian vior and uno a erre pieces have their marks on a flat jump link before the clasp. I took a broken section of chain to the jeweler with the same marks and sold it to them to melt down and use in their store for repairs. It's legit :)
lol..... I know you're not eye.... and I'm sure you'd do just fine with jewelry. I mean you do have the eye for beauty :)
