Help: some folks helped me identify some Toshikane buttons here. I shared with my wife's mom and she brought this out. In the original box and they have no idea what it is. We rushed out and my wife did not turn it over to show the sort of meshed backing. Its ear rings, a ring and a beautiful bracelet. Brought back from war by sailor who was all over the Pacific in merchant marine. Is it all for a female? japanese? It seems pretty cool never been used?
I hope to get more info and photos of the backside. And what the other piece is? broach?
Chinese!
Have a look to this one:

Kyra, you are like a detective... :)
Wow that was fast! Funny I was thinking it looked more chinese. It came back from the war but my mothering law has know real idea where it has been picked up. This look very very similar to the box and backing I saw at their home. They are going to get some better photos than the quick ones we took on the phone. Thank you so much. The other piece is a broach I confirmed.
My Pleasure! At least you trust me ;-)
@DrFluffy: I love jewellery mysteries, so I investigate, LOL
Beautiful! Awesome job too kyra :)
I added a picture of the back side.
