Small Trunk Restored

This trunk was restored by my 23 year old daughter. I'm happy to say I've passed on the love of trunks and restoring them. It is a small size trunk, measures about 18 by 20 and it is 20 inches tall. It is the style with the leather handle on the top, not on the side. It may have been a hat trunk. This one was in bad shape it had a lot of cracks in the wood, missing wheel on the bottom and some sections on the bottom had rotted out. It was her first trunk restoration, she had help with the carpenter work from a family member. He showed her how to use power tools and they brought this cute trunk back to life. She replaced the leather handle on the top, refinished the exterior and lined the inside of the trunk with fabric.
