Yard sale purchase. The legs appear to be decades newer than the seats. The seats are good quality molded plywood with a dark walnut veneer. No markings on the seats or legs but the legs look exactly like the Rubin C Lyra knockoffs with the exception of the actual feet. The seats measure 30cm x 31cm. The lip/edge thickness measures 1cm. From the base to the highest point of the seat measures approximately 20cm. At some point, they appear to have been left out in weather or some other not-so-great-for-wood place. The veneer on one seat has significant loss of the veneer. The bare plywood seems to have been exposed for some time.
They are very much in the style of magis lyra with a couple of intriguing exceptions. For one, the seat obviously doesn't have the cutout on the back. Also, the back lip on my stools don't seem to rise as high as Lyra. The front of the seats are more square than the Lyra. Most interesting, to me, is the way the edge seems to spill out of the front as opposed to the more rigid contour of a Lyra.
When all else fails, - "read the instructions".
Got it. :)
Oh! Welcome to CybeAsylum, aka CW.
