This very large footstool or ottoman is really cool. it looks like a giant mushroom in my living room. i wonder when this was made, by whom and where?

You should put a string of LED lights (battery operated) inside your poof and put something nice on top to reflect the colors of it -- or just to give a room - or patio some Mood lighting with your poof. I think that would be Neat !!!

Hi ho2cultcha! The actual name in French of these low ottomans is "POUF". Being French Canadian, my Grandma had many of these in her house. It may have been converted to POOF elsewhere but here it's a "POUF". But as they say, "A Rose by any other name still smells sweet". My wife likes these wicker ones. RER

i did know that about 'pouf', but very faintly from my youth!
"Lambert" (le bon sirop Lambert)...... drank a lot of that good tasting Cough Syrup growing up and what is more french than "Veilleux"! My French Acadian last name is Richard. BOB
