Hi
Everyone.
I found this school desk last year at VV, Antique not stay very long there, you got to be at the store when they came out, and this one was no exception, i was browsing around at the time almost finish my shopping when the guy coming with this desk on a rolling cart, i am the lucky one that time.
This desk was well made, dovetail, mortaise and tenon, flat point screws, someone as change the hinges sometime in the past, long metal parre on each side of the lid cover, when i look on each side i notice some wear like half moon hinges was there before(picture 3)
This desk stand 29.5 inch high by 24 inch wide, 7 inch deep in the back and 6 inch in the front. Hundred of student have put graphitti on it, really funny(reminders of what most of student have done)
Thanks for Viewing
Alan
