Still yet another Rose Bowl find. As you can see from the plaque on the front it is was a gift from Cub Scout Pack 139 to the Monroe School PTA in 1958. Thus from 1958
Doesn't seem to be working well as it only gets static but radio reception up here isn't good but for $10 I can live with that.
The three way feature is that it works with either an electric cord or one of two batteries it has inside. One is an Eveready 9 volt battery which is labelled for Transistor or Vacuum Tube Radios. Also it has the Burgess P60 Radio "B' Battery. Aside from being a dry battery there isn't any other information on the label. Neither battery seems to work but batteries don't tend to last over 50 years.
The 2 Tenna feature as mentioned on the handle is that when the main antennae is collapsed there is a second antennae inside that takes over..
Working or not, it's still a pretty awesome radio!!
Thank you very much again jscott0363.
