Another matching pair from a large group of similar rings bought at auction where I was almost the only one in attendance that was interested in the jewelry portion of the evenings sales. Talk about the moon, the sun and the stars all lining up. Well they did that eve. I was able to snag over 70 pairs of rings very similar to this pair. All shades of gold. White, yellow and some two-toned like this pair. None of the pictures I have taken do justice for these tiny pieces of art. The detail is so much more enhanced when looking at them under any type of magnification. I guess to a true craftsmen, making something like this is just another day at the office/shop. But I find it difficult to imagine making a ring or rings with as much detail as some of these have. Truly astounding. All of these vintage sets are gorgeous and all are in relatively perfect condition. And the evening of the auction was on Friday the 13th. That day has always been a very lucky day for me each time it comes around. It was that evening, for sure.
Wow... you do have quite the collection! I could go broke buying up these old sets. lol
I haven't really even scratched the surface. People would never look at another thing I posted if I were to post all of these that I have. And yes one (me) could go broke buying all of these. Thank you for your comment and for taking the time to take a look.
Where can I find <a href="http://www.dacarli.com/engagement/antique/wedding-sets">vintage wedding sets</a>? My fiance wants to use one of these.
