I don't see bands being worn this size very much. Maybe they are. But if the truth be told, I don't spend much, if any, time at all, looking at male left hand "ring fingers". Not a real "manly" thing to do. Of course if I did, I would admit to it. But I don't. This is a mid 1950's wide band with some nice decoration and is quite heavy, weight wise. All in 14k yellow gold with two small white decorative gold rings "top & bottom" plus the added black lacquer decorative touch in the same areas. A really nice looking band with some substance and to me, it "reeks" class in a discreet way. It pains me to think that this ring once worn probably very proudly, ended up in a pawn shop. And if it were not for someone, probably would have seen its demise in a "melting pot" along with other gold items.
Very pretty!!
Thank you for looking. I think with today's postings, I'm done with rings. I have so many but I feel this is a good enough place to stop as any. Just did another group of decorative gold bands among other rings & things.
