    would love more info on this Plate please it has been in my family for years. I know Castel makes it 1940's I think. i have serched and seen many plates similar to this but not this exact one. any and all help would be appreciated.

      Limoges Castel, founded by Jean Chateau in 1944. Purchased by M.Decoster in 1973.
      Specialised in miniatures and giftware.

      I have a simliar plate, it is beveled not completely round same two figures. I am attempting to post photos. However the back has a crown above identification Limoges with a word a I can make out Vertias. There in a large cursive V in the center. Looks like gold flake paint which has worn off. Been in my family over 70 years. Curious as to its background & value.
