A larger version of the offered lot sculpted by Jospher Hammerschmidt in 1911 rests on the Laute family grave, Poppelsdorfer Friedhof, Bonn, Germany.

It weighs approximately 150 lbs.
Great bronze but still sanitized for the public. A man dying in the field is a diff. thing. I'm overstepping my bounds. Still a nice piece though.
