Hi all. My friend just brought over these marbles to me and even tho I love marbles, I don't know them by name.
I have just found a site that does I.D. them but confuses me more than I was! I know, not hard to do right?! (jk)
There are at least 290 total.
I thought I'd post them like this, then sort them out a bit and redo the photos or just make another post.
If there are any that you know, would you mind letting me know what name they go under. I don't think there are really any WOW ones, but I don't know that for sure.

share, about a year ago I went through a pile of marbles myself. I googled what to look for in vintage marbles and got one or two good sites that made it fairly easy to sort out which ones might be interesting to a collector. There are a few collectors that have posted on here which is what sparked my interest, they may be able to spot some good ones in your photos. Good luck! :)

Hi katherine, thank you for the info. I know I've posted a few marbles before, but those were just my old one from when I was a kid...not handmade like I think some of these are. Let's see what's in store...
No walks. I haven't checked. Is there a special place to get those? Every time I go to the big box store to get something, I check and either I have a bulb that won't fit in my lamp or I can't find a bulb at all. They have to be the florescent ones right?
So far, I don't have one that goes with the other.

Hi Virginia, yes, these bring back lots of good memories for me from playing marbles in school. I always had a long sock over my shoulder full!!!

Hi shareurpassion. Cool. I have a few marbles but no where this many. How funny the marble site confusing you more. I can imagine it being complicated with the different shaped swirls etc.
I keep looking for old Chinese checkers games in the GW's, but have never had any luck. All I know is I want a Akro Agate game and it's marbles. I think you have some Akro Agate marbles there if I'm not mistakin.
