BelleEpoque
(98 items)
This brooch is very similar to the one in my earlier post, and the floral motif suggests is by the same designer. It too is made of 800 silver. This one has green enamel and a central red garnet. It was either made or influenced by the likes of Max J Gradl and Patriz Huber. Manufactured in Pforzheim, Germany around 1900.

Thanks for loving... Fluffy & austrohungaro, thanks for commenting :)
Hi BelleEpoque
The Jugendstil Schmuck book by Fritz Falk fetters similar brooches (with that lily pad/cherry design & enamel) to Mathias Scheidel.
Not much information on them other than the firm started making jugend style jewellery when the son joined them. Brother also made rings. Located in Pforzheim.
No makers mark used.
Love it! Super cool!
Thanks Jewels1900 for the info, as always!! I have seen those on the book before, they certainly feature a similar leaf motif... but if I'm not mistaken, it also said that it's still a mystery who actually made the designs. It's a shame that we can't know for sure!
stunning!!!
