Great pic! The blue trash can gives it a modern look. lol J/K I'd move the can and retake the pic. It really throws the whole 1820's look out the window. Either way, I love the place. Thanks for giving me a tour when I was visiting your shop.
      I will be back!

A very beautiful old home that reeks terminology such as sturdy & dependable. My current home is brick also (but much much younger, having been built in 1974) and it gives one comfort to know that when it comes to weather & shelter. Hurricanes for me & possibly tornado's for you.
Sorry for not calling last night but my day and early eve became much more hectic than I first thought. And once I was freed up, I thought it too late to call. But we can always set another time to chat.
Once again I know from first hand experience the joys (and the drawbacks) from living in and the remodeling of very old structures. I have done major restoration work on homes close to as old as yours pictured here. While my former home was just a little over half as old as your home pictured, there were always a pile of folks that wanted to hear the whole story, and take the $25 cent tour. (mine was built in 1897)
Once again. A very nice home and definitely one to be proud of. Thanks for sharing it.

Thanks bahamaboy Its not too bad with tornados we are in a protected area kinda. That one thing I did not like about florida was hurricanes. And to hot and muggy. You are prob used to the hot though being from the Islands. But Im from chicago. The windy city.

Actually I was born and raised in Jacksonville Fl. Lived 4 years in Daytona Beach where I went to my last 2 years of high school and 1st 2 years of college. Also spent 2 years in SC during 2nd & 3rd grade. Spent every winter in the islands for 17 years and mostly out-islands Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, Costa Rica, Mexico etc etc... Stayed as long as 9 months there but most visits were 3-7 weeks And yes I'm use to the high humidity of the tropics. Can't stand anywhere cold... But have flown to Chicago many times to catch Cub games. Big Cub fan...
