    I want to share with you another of my family picture from the 1900.
    Grand Ma picture after the class of 1910 the 29 of august, good time along the shore, with the photograher and fews friends, grand ma wearing the white dress.

      @roy, this picture was taken on north side peninsula at the Island D'orlean, Quebec City.
      I have more of my family's history pictures, just not time to do more, I am glad you love it.

      It looks like the ocean. Your words " the shore " is definitely a eastern term I haven't heard that in a while and never on the west coast. Great picture, true family keepsake.

      @Roy, on the north side of island on the pic of it, it's start to be larger, in front it's Saint-Jean port Joli, it's not the larger portion of the St-Lawrence river but when it's windy this area could seem look like the open sea when water rolled and hit the shore.
