    Picked this up at a thrift store. Can't recall how much, but was definitely less than $1.

    I knew I had to have it. It looks great with my MCM lamp

      If you paid less than $1 you did OK. Looks like Padukha wood on an unknown wood base. If you leave this in direct sunlight it should turn a rust brown color or dark brown. Easy wood to work with as long as you keep it waxed or otherwise sealed once it is finished.
