This little guy stands about five inches high and the drum is just over three inches across. There are two projections on the rim of the drum.
Does anyone have an idea as to what they were for? Or the Japanese factory it might have come from?
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Stanford Allen

It has a fixed key to wind the clockwork mechanism.
