    I was given this chair by my father. He doesn't know anything about it and I don't either. I just thought it was a very cool chair! I would love to know more about it but I haven't been too successful looking online! The chair is made of oak and the medallions are leather. I think the wood underneath the leather is carved. The leather itself does not look like it is carved. If anyone knows anything at all about this chair, I would love to hear about it!!

      I think you will find that your chair is called a 'Captains Chair' normally used as a desk/office chair...If you google captains chair you will find lots of different but the same type as this...hope this helps!...:-)
