I just found this amazing piece and I would need some help identify age and factory.
I have seen similar from the Germany company Deru, but this one is stamped with "made in England". I have also seen one identical on this site, but cant get in contact with the person who posted it. So if you have any ideas regarding this stunning Bulldog, please write.
Thanks!
Check out Omersa.
BUDEK has one too here on CW.
There's some info there.

It looks like a reproduction of SGT. Duffy. US marines adopted him as a mascot during WWII. I believe he went on to become the mascot/logo of Mack Trucks. The English bulldog is their logo to this day.
Hello and Thanks for the message. Unfortunately I only know what you can read on my posting, nothing more. The good people on CW were a big help, and gave me a lot of information to look into, but I didn't get any further.
The dear elderly woman that sold it to me thought it was from Yale University, but really had no idea where it came from. It had been in her home as long as she could remember,( I don't think I mentioned that in my posting, oddly enough it's fresher in my mind thinking back on it ). When I noticed that it was made in England, I thought it likely had some connection to England from the time of one of the World Wars.
Sorry that I can't be of any real help, but if I do find some additional information I'll be sure to share it with you.
Best regards,
Tony.
