This post is especially dedicated to FORTAPACHE, who's bringing back great memories from my childhood with his amazing action figures.

Geyperman is the Spanish version of GIJoe. In fact, it almost looks like one of them. I used to have several as a kid but not a single one of them remains as my mother gave all my toys to some neigbour's kids... so all those I've got at the moment are new ones.

Geyperman action figures were first made in Spain in 1974 by GEYPER and it followed the modified Palitoy ActionMan, and in 1979 patented the second generation body, ore realistic. It was produced untl 1982.

In 2002 BIZAK relaunched the Geyperman without success and it stoped produceing it in 2005. Later in 2011 they started producing it again in limited collectors editions and using the original moulds from the 1970s and 1980s.

This Legionario (soldier of the Spanish Legión) wear the traditional uniform and comes with the Legión's pet, a goat... Of all the geyperman figures I got this is the only one from which I kepi its complete original box, as you can see on pics.2 and 3.

On pic4 you can see some actual legionarios... no comments needed.

Great post austrohungaro. Looks like a great figure with detachable magazines for his weapons. The goat looks well made and is a nice touch.

Your first photo, so well posed, is an entertainment.
      Vincent will love your Legionaro.

Thanks for loving ROSE, MANI, KYRA, FORTAPACHE, AGH, KAREN, MIKE, KEViN and VIOLET!

Looking forwad to hearing about Vincent's reaction, Karen :)

The whole uniform is quite dfferent :) The Spanish Legion, an elite force, dates back from the 1920s and they were established in the Spanish territories in nowadays Morocco -now they're just established in our North African cities of Melilla and Ceuta-. That's why it looks so extrange, with short leaved shrits, no jackets...

cool figure. I recently started looking up other versions of Joe and after doing so realized that Action Man & Geyper Man,Takara were still being made long after the U.S. stopped production. They gad some really cool sets would love to get my hands on some. Cotswold Collectibles recently started selling the reproduction figures but they are almost as much as the vintage G.I.Joe figures I'm assuming because of shipping them from overseas. thanks for sharing I hadn't seen that one before really cool looking set.

Thanks rebel!!! I'm so glad you like it ;) Old Gepermans are pretty expensive in Spain -although ur sellers haeve got this stupid thing about if something is old or imported or both it has to be sold far over ts norml price... :/
