Here we have two bone French made Whistles with Stanhope tops that have miniature photographs when you look through the lens . First one has 6 photographs of GT YARMOUTH. Market place, Yarmouth, Town Hall and Harbour, Britannia Pier, The Beach and The Market Place. Second one has two photographs , Palais Du Trocadero Exposition Universelle Paris & Palais De Champ De Mar. The pictures I have shown dont do the actual photographs any justice they are quite clear and amasing concidering their age.

Incredible with the Stanhope tops.
Hi Whistlecollection, could you tell me more about mine, posted here:

Yes Its a two bone or ivory French made Whistle from 1800s or even early 1900s. I would have to guess it was a lady's accessory. Mine are a souvenir from different land marks pictured in the little windows ( yours might of had a stanhope window but alot were made like yours). So our whistles were meant for the well to do of the time I don't think they were used as police, railway, or military whistles mainly because there isnt any markings on the body of the whistle as they would have had.
