Official Guide to the World's Columbian Exposition 1893

This is a copy of the Official Guide to the World's Columbian Exposition in the city of Chicago, state of Illinois, U.S.A., from May 1 to Oct. 26, 1893.
This is the "Hand Book Edition", Leatherette Cover, and could be purchased for $0.25 at the Administrations Building or could be mail-ordered in advance.
Copyright, 1893, by the World's Columbian Exposition and printed by John Anderson Publishing Company, Chicago.
It is a 194 page, 7-1/2" x 5-1/8" x 3/8" book with maps, approximately 96 illustrations, short descriptions of the main exposition buildings, the construction, size and some of the exhibits that could be seen inside.
The admittance fee for the Exposition was $0.50, children under 12 years, $0.25, and children under 6 years, free.
In this copy I acquired, and used as a bookmark, is a silk ribbon, approximately 3" wide & 10" long, printed with the poem "The Silk Worm's Will" by Miss H. F. Gould (Hannah Flagg Gould, 1789-1865) for the World's Columbian Exposition Chicago, 1893. It was sponsored by the Women's Silk Culture Association of the United States, at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
