Old Reading Beer Fans

Here are two variations of Old Reading Beer Fans from the Old Reading Brewing Company located in Reading, PA. These fan signs would have been distributed to the public as well as beer distributors, bars, and taverns to advertise Old Reading Beer. The Reading Premium Beer fan sign is the more common variation while the PR8 Beer Fan sign is the harder one to find. The PR8 fan sign variation refers to the 8 oz Pale Reserve beer bottles (shown in the fist picture displaying the fans) that were distributed by the Old Reading Brewing Company. Pale Reserve Beer was the Old Reading Brewing Company’s flagship beer and was brewed from 1940 to 1969.

These are the only two variations of fans signs that I know of from the Old Reading Brewing Company, and I’m very happy to have them in my collection.
