    I found this robin-egg blue John Widdicomb piece of furniture in a local shop. It appears to be hand painted. I have no idea what this piece of furniture would be called or when it was made. I would appreciate any information regarding this item.

      John took over the business in 1970. I never heard of them so had to do a little research. The modern soss hinges caught my eye in your pictures. He made mostly bedroom furniture, just research his name and there is plenty of info. Don't confuse him with the original company from the 1800"s

      nutsabotas6, You have a good point but I love it where it is now. It looks much better than the photos. Would look great in the bathroom however!
