This appears to be a hand-painted bowl. On the bottom it is marked "France Depose." I believe it is Limoge Charles Ahrenfeldt. I found it in a local shop.

Thanks to "splishsplash" for solving my mystery!!!

It is, and I think it is one of the earlier stamp marks.

It must be after 1891 though, and here's why.
The McKinley Tariff Law went into effect in 1891 and all imported goods after that time were required to be marked with the name of the country of origin. All Limoges items lacking the word "France" were manufactured before 1891.

Glad I could be of help. I'm here on the spot so to speak, so, although no expert, I am happy to help if I can. We have lots of Limoges items for sale at our brocantes and boot sales.
