I am so happy to be able to share the latest addition to my Rindskopf collection with you all. I have always wanted one of Rindskopf's pulled feather aventurine pieces, and thanks to a very good friend (Thank You!) I was able to acquire this bowl, which I think is even a bit more unusual than their aventurine vases. I have seen Rindskopf aventurine bowls before in a few other forms, but not in this particular shape. It came from France, and was a quite dirty, but now cleaned up, it just sparkles. It is also quite a thin and translucent glass (especially for Rindskopf) - you can see this best in picture 3. It is 5-1/2" wide, and 3-5/8" tall, and dates from about 1905.
Another great addition to your Rindskopf collection Michelle! Loves it!
That is a FABULOUS!!!! decor and colour... and the shape sets it off beautifully, well done...:-)
Rick and inky, thank you so much. I am very lucky to have this one, and it is quite different from my other 'Rindies' as my husband & I like call them! ;)
Michelle, love the shape!!
Thanks, Lee! :)
