Todays find was a real barn find, i spotted this on an upper shelf of an old barn that had about 50 chickens in it.....this is how it cleaned up after removing all different colors of dust? And what im sure was chicken poop, as far as what ive learned so far is it is a 1955 sylvania model 518 and i was thinking how cool it was to be bringing it home in my 1955 chevy belair.....after cleaning up it works great but im going to have to replace the dial light, thank you for viewing! Trey, thank you sir! I experimented with meguiars automotive deep crystal polish being very carefull to make sure i was not scratching then i followed up with carnauba wax...thanks for your comment!
Nutsabotas6, why thank you! , i later found out the person i bought it from was born in december of 1955 so i bought the radio from a guy born in 1955 and the radio was made in 1955 and i brought it home in a 1955 chevy, wierd stuff like that i love.
Really, really love this! Could drink coffee from the Rochester and listen to the radio!!!
