A great local artist Robert Held. It's not very old, but it's it is in perfect condition, and just a pleasure to have on display in the home.

That is a beauty. I had heard a few years ago that Robert was leaving to start a new adventure and I was worried that we would not be seeing any new work. But when I saw your post, I looked him up again and it seems that he is going to be selling some of his own pieces as they are photographed and put up on his site. I look forward to seeing these lovely one of a kind things. I too am very fond of his work. I met him years ago at the One of a Kind show in Toronto. He was a delight. I spoke with him about perhaps making shades for me and he was very generous with his time and most kind. I have a special vase of his that I will try to add soon so that you can see it too.
      Sincerely,
      Lisa

      Thanks for all the loves.
      Thank-you, surfdub66, AnnaB, mikelv85, antiquerose ;), Gluechip, Rick55, sklo42, vetraio55, racer4four, inky, Lisa-lighting, aghcollect and blunderbuss2.
Thanks again antiquerose for the links to your items. They are very very nice.
I would suggest everyone hold onto their Helds. Although he has produced many items, some of his pieces are extraordinary.

Agree -- Hold your (Robert) HELD glass. His glass is all over the world and he did some rather high commissions I believe too.

Thank-you for the additional love antiquerose :) I love it too, but one day i'll post some rather exceptional RHAG vases I have that puts this one to shame in a way.
