I've always loved oriental and this I bought at my first auction I was 16, (sigh many years ago). I believe it to be Japanese. It has heavy moriage design, with elephant handles. Stands 18 1/4" tall and its about 11" from outside handle to other side handle.
I really really love this , i think its satsuma
can,t by real early , because of the generic signing, moriage trimming is late , a sort of showa period
