My dad passed just before turning 92, he had this his entire life but must have kept it hidden away in my younger days so it wouldnt get broken...he never showed me it until i was grown (wise choice i might have played train wreck with it) its about 7 inches long and in great shape, looks to be cast iron and it still winds up and goes pretty fast, what was special to me was as i took the pics to post on CW i spotted a tiny piece of paper shoved way inside of it, it was hard to get out but i got it and it stated he got it for christmas in 1924....so if my math is correct it would be 91 years old the same age he was when he passed...couldnt find any manufacturer on it so if anyone knows please post it and thank you for viewing it...Terry aka slotman

I'm far from a train expert but it looks like a Hafner.

Finding the note had to be an awesome moment.
