Camping in Rocky Mtns. 1912

Sent to my great grandmother in 1912. Written on the back "This card was taken by my self on the tip top of the Rocky Mts. I took it with a string fastened to the camera. We camped on the summit 16 days and hunted elk with now success only what was given to us. One fellow gave us a whole quarter. The kettle you see in the picture contains elk meat. We were trying to make a mulligan."
