As you may have noticed I am fond of green glass. If it is iridescent so much the better. If it has a raised, gold enamel design better still. However what is especially pleasing about this one is the flower!
Some three years ago 'bohemianglassandmore' wrote of this flower, 'I don't know what type of flower this represents, but it is apparently the marker for DEK I/107. So you can see why I had to buy the vase and rescue it from anonymity. Perhaps I should say that the glass of this vase is solely green!

Yum! Green! Shiny! A happy flower!
I have to admire your photography too Peggy. Do you use a light box?
You show the glass and iridescence so well with no glare.
Peggy, I love the feeling of 'rescuing' a vase, too! And what a great one to save from obscurity! :)
Oh Karen how I laughed! I wouldn't know a light box if I tumbled over one in the street!!! I have a distinctly Heath-Robinson set-up in a spare bedroom. However I try to avoid bright sunlight (not so easy for you!). Also I position my body between the window and the subject to prevent shadows. I suppress the flash but I imagine every one does that. I do think I need a new camera with more pixels however.
But thanks so much for the compliment, Peggy :-)
Thank you, Michelle. I was very lucky because had the listing not been for an anonymous green vase there would have been more bidders!
