1941 Hawthorne 'Comet' Womens Bicycle

It was bought at a swap meet and was in rough shape with lots of rust. It had been repainted blue but the original green paint was found under 3 layers of paint.It was missing the horn, light and chain guard which I was able to find. All chrome parts were re-chromed, the many dents were removed, and it was totally stripped of paint and rust and professionally painted and pinstriped. The horn and light work well after refurbishing them. What I like best about this bike is the front double spring forks,the skirt guards and the shapely back rack. This bike is PRETTY!
