    This seems to straddle Victorian and Deco painting on glass. It could have been produced between 1880 and 1930 but in the Victorian style.
    It has an enamelled "Z" tucked under the rim, applied from inside.
    I seem to be doing parrots recently. It is 21.5cm tall.

    I only later saw the blue heart - is this a lovebird?

      this looks like an Australian Rosella and therefore belongs on Australian soil...and as the first Australian in here I bare claim on behalf of my fellow country women whom I'm sure will arrive soon, I promise to look after it with my heart and soul!!
