Worked with a Seller on Ebay who lowered the price the first picture is how I received it. I did not know if it would clean up. I tried some Barkeeps Friend after reading on line it contained wood Bleach. The last picture of it is with Parker & Bailey Wooden Ware conditioner, to keep it from Drying out. Though it is a later model of 13 1/2 it is a nice piece of History close to 100 Years old!
The the far left in the group of the is heavily stamp with LI, probably the original owner.
The middle rule has double lines in lines that run parallel with the edge. I can mare make out No. 13 1/3 which is not in the same location as the other two on the the edge near the calper was rounded off and there is a whole through the end near the hinge, I suspect at some point it was suspended for a string or chain.
The far right rule looks like the kids got a hold of it and number we marked with Green Marker and will not clean off.
Your rule dates from 1919 to 1934, probably early within that span. The one I just acquired (for considerably more) dates from before 1919 and is in excellent condition. No photo yet.
I have 3 from the earlier era with the slide running through the joint plate, but they have minor issues. The are 2 with the same graduations and one with double lines on the line parallel with the edge.
