Just picked this up today. It is the Westinghouse Model RO-91 Roaster. The stand was sometimes sold separately. You could put the roaster on a counter top or you can put it on the stand. The stand is also a cabinet which can be filled with vintage enamelware and kitchenware which it shall be.
Just to the left of the handle is a space for putting on optional clock/timer. That will be coming soon.
This piece is from the 1950s.

I'm sorry to be so ignorant but what was this meant to roast?
      I've not seen one before!

Thank you racer4four. You can pretty much roast anything that will fit in it. Turkey etc.

So the roasting gets done in that big sort of pan with the lid at the top, and the underpart is storage, right? This is pretty cool. :)
    13. fortapache fortapache, 10 years ago
Thank you very much katherinescollections and you are correct. I figure with the storage space it actually saves space. My clock is waiting for me at the post office. Wait until you see it with the clock.
