I have a Budweiser hanging carousel that was passed along to me from my grandfather in 1971. It does have the states on the wagon, the tricolor crates and the white paint on the bottom of the wagon. However it does not light up and does not look like there is anything made for it to light up. A few years back I had read that there was a law where no illuminated signage was allowed inside bars. did the first carousels made not have a light? I am looking for any information on this item. thanks.
They all had lights and were never made without them - it's tricky to replace the bulb. You have to remove the screws holding the top and bottom in place. Then remove the bottom lid and replace the circular flourescent bulb. The black switch at the bottom controls the light and motor. If I were you I would try to replace the bulb first and hope it's not a bad ballast. Good luck
thank you very much for the information. I greatly appreciate it!
What state is this Carousel out of?
