I bought this today at a thrift store. I know nothing about it and I can't figure out the markings. It is beautiful and it is 13.5" tall and 10 wide. The inside appears to be glazed in gray. any help will be appreciated.
it reads yong sheng cha chi chang zhi which means something like the everlasting triump of the ornamented porcelain factory
something like 1970-1980
is this Macau/Hong Kong?
in mine opinion it used to be Hongkong , namely Industrial Building Des Voeux Road West in Kenndey Town section Hongkong, it will change maybe possible
because of the possible internal problems
and in the 30 ties the Marco Polo bridge incident indirectly lead to the Manchuria invasion in 1936 and the factory left to Hong Kong and incidently to Macao
addendum the Fang Da Qing Qianlong nian is Macao , looks an long difficult mark , but it aint because , because the pitchfork is right under in the mark
The Ao men zhi zao ( 45 character mark, which means Made in Macao is not that difficult because right there are an sort of golgclubs topsy turvy
Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi are macao the second symbol top row from the is like a pinada ( wrapped toffee candy)
so you don,t have to read the marks actually only this three things
1 pitchfork right under
2 upside down
3 pinada
pinada
4 characters in stead of45
2 upside down golfclubs
