it appears to be English and it is stoneware, I could be wrong .... the dating on this could maybe mid to late 1800's . lets see what others say!!!
Thanks Sean68, That is a start, just cant find Mark anywhere. Will look specifically for English marks, which may help
Sean's right .... Check out English Registration marks.
There are two different sets explained here:
http://etruscanmajolica.blogspot.com.au/2014/07/english-registration-codes-on-majolica.html
Bingo Sean68, found it's a registration mark. Maker is outside of diamond hard to read but believe it says T. F. A. & Co? So now I know it is english from Aug 30th 1845 based on this Registration Mark!
The top mak is IV for pottery.
Underneath the IV will be either a letter or a digit.
In your case it will be a letter so read the set titled 1842-1867.
The rest of the marks can be read from there.
Thanks All! that Mark site gave me the Exact date of production, but I hesitate to believe this authenticity when there is clearly a seam which I think tells me this was made from a mold?
What do you think?
See additional pics I uploaded and see top has age to it

Fake or Real, That is the question? Now that I understand the mark, I am suspect of this being from the 1800's?
youirs is the real thing !!!! yes like I said from the 1800's !!! your golden :)
Thanks Sean! Through me off seeing the seams on the pitcher / stein.
Thanks ALL for your help!
