Fake or Real, That is the question? Now that I understand the mark, I am suspect of this being from the 1800's?

Bingo Sean68, found it's a registration mark. Maker is outside of diamond hard to read but believe it says T. F. A. & Co? So now I know it is english from Aug 30th 1845 based on this Registration ...
Thanks Sean68, That is a start, just cant find Mark anywhere. Will look specifically for English marks, which may help
