Today I broadened my shopping area. One of the cashiers at Salvation had asked me had I ever been to a place called "Savers" (savers.com). I hadn't and she told me it was close. So I borrowed her phone and looked up the exact address. About 8-10 miles away, not too bad. I'm always looking for new hunting grounds. What an awesome store ! You would hardly believe it was a thrift store. Super clean and well organized and they had only been opened since April 9th. I found this vase in their glass section. It's kind of an unusual cloudy opal vaseline looking glass. Sooo....is this what I think it is ?? One or two of the leaves are missing around back but really not that obvious. I felt the sharp edges before I actually noticed they were missing. Only a couple of dollars if it turns out to be Chinese. -Mike-
looks like Czech or bohemian art glass
Thanks Sean :).....but which one..does it start with a K and end with a k...lol
there used to be a savers in Appleton,wi back in 2009-2011 and they closed here , they had some awesome stuff !!! that's where ive found my sterling silver spoon that dated from 1811 from London.
I think they're moving to the east coast more from what their web site says. They've been around since 1951 but they started out in California. I can see some very good things coming from this place as you say and the prices are awesome too. I had several thing picked out and put them back because I was way over budget...lol.
LOL!!! Yes they do have great prices!!! so sad they didn't stay in the Midwest!!! :(
It looks similar to mine the blue one.
Very well could be Kralik.. or Harrach
