I'm still at work, but couldn't wait any longer to post these 2 lunchtime finds at the thrift shop. They have a nice layer of hardened dust and dirt on them. I think they are old. I paid $3.99 for the pair. Sold !
I think these are Japanese glass. They are not detailed enough for Murano, and that chipping around the polished base is fairly common with this older Japanese glass, as they did not chamfer edges after polishing.
I think you were lucky to get a pair at that price!
