We bought these six intact coffee cups and saucer a couple of month ago to Olga Caro, one of our dealers for porcelain and glass items. We took it together with the Baccarat goblets I posted http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/154210-champagne-goblets-in-cut-crystal-baccarat
Their shape is a good example of the Art Nouveau while the décor seems in part a transfer (the borders of the flowers) and the inside hand painted, please click over the pictures to see them fully displayed in detail. There are some relief and the cup has the flowers painted inside. The porcelain is thin and very transparent you can see the green mark through it looking against the daylight (third picture). The best information was found here http://www.efineantiques.com/webpages/fine_porcelains.htm “O&E.G., Oscar and Edgar Gutherz, Altrohlau, Austria, 1899-1918. (Source: Kovel's, page 74). Same as mark below, but without a pattern name. Found on hand painted plates that were probably the work of an American china painter. This is no doubt a whiteware mark for decoration outside the factory. This same mark with a pattern name added as shown below indicates decoration inside the factory.” The cups has the pattern in manuscript 75 and the saucer the same number impressed under the glaze, thus they were decorated in the factory.
