This vase was not part of the Museum Crystal series by Hoya (this vase released later in the 1990s) but has the same degree of designer input and work.

The vase has been initially moulded and then has been cut and frosted front and back to give it an icy look.

I do not know who designed this although there are some good designs cues with it.
The actual shape of the vase with the flat front and back and ribbed sides is very similar to a Museum Crystal vase by Fumio Sasa.
The icy sections however I think are much like the work on my"Snow Lake" dish by Saburo Funakoshi, and it is about the same time period.

Whoever designed it, it's a well made vase.

Wondering if you have any other information on this vase? I have one and want to sell it but have no idea of it's worth. Any clues? Thanks
